The Nothing Phone 1 12/256 has a 6.55-inch FHD+ flexible OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
It runs on the Snapdragon 778G+ processor with up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and is based on Android 12 with Nothing OS on top, and the company has promised 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security patches every 2 months. It has a dual rear camera setup where a 50MP primary camera along with 50MP ultra-wide camera that also lets you capture macro shots. The front side has a 16MP front-facing camera.
The main highlight of the Nothing Phone 1 12/256 is the glyph interface, with Unique light patterns made up of 900 LEDs to indicate calling and signal app notifications, charging status, and more. You can also pair individual contacts to a ringtone and each with a unique Glyph pattern. The flip to Glyph feature triggers silent, light-only notifications by placing Phone (1) with the Glyph Interface face up.
